The Retirement Board may Discuss and Take Action on the Following:

  1. Pledge of Allegiance.
  2. Accept comments from the public.
  3. Board Reorganization:
    1. Election of Chair (Hast, incumbent).
    2. Election of Vice-Chair (Phillips, incumbent).
    3. Election of Secretary (Telles, incumbent).
  4. Approve minutes from the April 8 and May 6, 2015 Board meetings.
  5. Routine items for July 8, 2015.
    1. Approve certifications of membership.
    2. Approve service and disability allowances.
    3. Accept disability applications and authorize subpoenas as required.
    4. Approve death benefits.
    5. Accept Asset Allocation Report.

CLOSED SESSION 

  1. The Board will go into closed session under Govt. Code Section 54957 to consider recommendations from the Medical Advisor and/or staff regarding the following disability retirement applications:

  1. Presentation from Segal regarding the December 31, 2014 Valuation Report.
  2. Consider and take possible action to adopt the December 31, 2014 Valuation Report and contribution rates for the period July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2017.
  3. Consider and take possible action to approve a benefit allowance for the beneficiary of Shari Critchfield, pursuant to Government Code Section 31726.
  4. Consider authorizing the attendance of Board and/or staff:
