Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR)

In addition to the financial statements, the ACFR contains information on CCCERA’s investments, actuarial information regarding funding, and statistical information on CCCERA membership. Information contained in the report is designed to provide a complete and accurate review of the year’s operations.

The ACFR complies with the accounting requirements promulgated by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB). The ACFR is compiled by CCCERA and audited by an independent accounting firm certified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) has awarded CCCERA a Certificate for Excellence in Financial Reporting for each year since 2000.

Each ACFR covers one calendar year and is published in June of the following year.

The net position – restricted for pensions of CCCERA at the close of December 31, 2022, totaled $10.1 billion, respectively. All of the net position is available to meet CCCERA’s ongoing obligations to plan participants and their beneficiaries.
