Gail Strohl joined CCCERA as the chief executive officer in
2014. Strohl plans, organizes and directs the activities of the
association. She also administers the policies and
regulations of the Board of Retirement.
Prior to working for CCCERA, Strohl worked as the administrator
for the City of Phoenix Employees’ Retirement System and as the
accounting manager for the San Diego County Employees Retirement
Association. Before entering the public sector, she worked in the
financial services and education industries. She has a bachelor’s
degree in economics and English and an MBA in
finance. She is a certified public finance officer
(CPFO).
