Tim Hoppe
Retirement Services Manager


Tim Hoppe joined CCCERA in August 2015 as the retirement services manager. In his role he is responsible for overseeing the counseling and benefit payment programs for active employees and retirees offered by the county retirement system.

Hoppe began his career at Bank of America in the employee benefits services division. While there his areas of responsibility ranged from investment fund management, master trust accounting, institutional distribution and tax services, to client relationship management. Following Bank of America, Hoppe was the director of total rewards at a large multi-state retail organization, the director of pensions at a multi-employer union trust fund, and the manager of compensation, benefits and payroll at a California utility. Hoppe has been a board director for the Plan Sponsor Council of America and for the Merrill Lynch Retirement Advisory Committee.  He received a degree in finance from California State University, Sacramento.
