Submit an Ethics or Fraud Report

Post

CCCERA values trust, accountability, and innovation. Of CCCERA’s core values, trust and accountability specifically help to promote a culture of legal and regulatory compliance.

Members, service providers, participating employers and the public at large are encouraged to report any activities that they consider to be illegal, unethical, or dishonest. Examples of these activities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Violations of federal, state, or local laws
  • Any fraudulent financial reporting
  • Theft or misappropriation of assets

To the extent possible, the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity will be maintained. However, information may have to be disclosed to those needing to know to conduct a thorough investigation. The organization does not retaliate against a whistleblower who reports a concern in good faith. CCCERA has contracted with an independent company to accept internet reports.

How to Submit an Ethics or Fraud Report

Step 1: Use the following link to navigate to the CCCERA Connect portal to file an ethics or fraud report.

Step 2: Once you have completed your report you will be asked to create a PIN. The PIN must be 4 characters(letters/numbers). You will use this PIN and the report number to anonymously dialog with CCCERA. Please save this PIN and report number and keep them in a safe place.

To provide additional information and to inform you of the status of your report, we ask that you reconnect with the CCCERA Connect portal two weeks after filing your report. This time, click “Already have a PIN” and provide your Case Number and PIN.

Step 3: Your report will remain anonymous (unless you have chosen to identify yourself). Reports will be reviewed by CCCERA. A response to your report and/or follow-up questions will be posted to the CCCERA Connect system within two weeks of filing your report. The CCCERA Compliance Division will review, investigate, and respond to all reports promptly.
