Profile

Christina Dunn began as the chief executive officer in March 2024, after her appointment by the Board of Retirement as the acting chief executive officer in August 2023. Dunn joined CCCERA as the administrative and human resources manager in 2010 and was promoted to deputy chief executive officer in 2017. Dunn strategizes, coordinates, and oversees the operations of the association, while also managing the implementation of the policies and regulations set forth by the Board of Retirement.

Prior to working at CCCERA, Dunn served as a human resource manager for a county and state funded non-profit. She earned her bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology and her MBA with an emphasis in human resources from California State University, East Bay. She was recognized for her outstanding graduate academic achievement by the College of Business and Economics, California State University, East Bay.

Dunn is certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute as a professional in human resources (PHR).
